Nelson Slipway facilities

Built for the Nelson Harbour Board and opened in 1968, the slipway will comfortably handle keeled and multi-hull vessels up-to 130 tonnes, 25 metres in length.

Nelson Slipway Ltd is a subsidary company of Marine & General Engineering (Nelson) Ltd.

The rail facility features a hardstand area, railed cradles and a traverse arrangement allowing muliple slippings at any one time.

A purpose built, consented, spray booth and wash-down area is also situated at Nelson Slipway. Ideal for any painting requirements you have during your vessels stay.

Prices vary according to the weight of the vessel, hull shape and keel blocking requirements, the number of days out of the water and the services required. We will provide water-blaster hire, electricity and rubbish removal if required.
